Hip to gable conversion with dormer, DA1

This conversion was completed during early 2018.  The whole roof structure was changed new plain tiles were installed on the front elevation, new dormer and gable wall.  A Juliet balcony was fitted with full sized french door.  A pair of top hung Velux roof windows were installed to maximize light.  A full sheeted scaffolding was fitted over the house to protect from the winter weather, and resulted in no delays in the schedule.  We organised decoration and new carpeting from the top of the house, down to the front door.

Great care was taken to make sure the loft became a matching part of the existing house and not just 'added on'.  As with all of our loft projects, the stairs, newel posts, spindles and hand rails match the the rest. We also matched skirting and architraves, and upgraded to fire doors through the hallway and landing.

The En-suite shower room included a flush to floor shower tray with glass panel, underfloor heating, a wall hung basin with illuminated mirror and digital shower.  

Rear dormer conversion, Chislehurst

This loft conversion in BR7 was designed as a bedroom with en-suite shower room. The whole roof was renewed in plain tiles to match the rear dormer. A megaflow system was installed to help the supply of water to the new shower, and the existing water tanks removed from the loft as part of the conversion. Velux roof windows provided extra light to the bedroom and stairwell.

Hip to gable roof conversion with rear dormer, DA16  

This hip to gable conversion with rear dormer was completed in summer 2016. The roof was re - pitched and the front roof tiles were changed at the same time. The new gable wall was rendered and painted to match the rest of the property. The en-suite bathroom was finished in travertine tiles, including a custom made double basin unit. A ceiling speaker linked to the clients home audio system was installed as well as mood lighting to the floor and tiled shelf.
